Urban Sketchers New Orleans Exhibit

  • Center for Architecture and Design 1000 Saint Charles Avenue New Orleans, LA, 70130 United States (map)

Urban Sketchers (USk) New Orleans is hosting an exhibition to celebrate the work of the many artists participating in our monthly meetups and community. Over the last couple of years, artists and architects have met monthly in different parts of New Orleans to capture this great city by pencil, pen and paintbrush. The exhibit includes 21 local artists and architects, featuring sketches and paintings of New Orleans, from Crescent Park and the French Quarter to Lake Vista and the Audubon Zoo. You can find some of our work on our facebook group here.

Urban Sketchers New Orleans is the local chapter of urbansketchers.org, an all-volunteer nonprofit dedicated to fostering a global community of artists who practice on-location drawing. With a community of over 225 chapters in 55 countries on 6 continents, we are proud to represent New Orleans' architectural and cultural heritage through on-location drawing, sketching and painting.
