Hosted by the Louisiana Architectural Foundation (LAF) and the New Orleans Architecture Foundation (NOAF), these monthly meet-ups are free to anyone who wants to learn more about New Orleans by drawing, painting, photography, etc. This month's Sketch Session will be held at the Audubon Zoo on Saturday, August 5th from 10AM - 12PM.

UPDATE: 08/02/2017: Complimentary registration for the August Sketch Session at the Audubon Zoo is now closed. If you are still interested in joining us, you are welcome to purchase a ticket to the zoo online and join us at 10am!

Meet us at the Audubon Zoo Main Entrance (6500 Magazine St.) to draw, paint and photograph this important part of New Orleans! Just bring any drawing, sketching, photography equipment you will need. No skill-level required!

Thank you to the Audubon Nature Institute for their generous donation of 35 for our guests, sketchers and painters!

We will all meet at a different site each month and draw/photograph a few buildings, streets, parks, etc. It's as simple as that! For more information, please contact Joel Pominville at  or (504)525-8320.
