September Sketch Session: Let's Draw Historic Gretna!

  • Common Grounds Coffee House & Cafe 335 Huey P Long Avenue Gretna, LA, 70053 United States (map)

Hosted by the Urban Sketchers New Orleans Chapter, these monthly meet-ups are free to anyone who wants to learn more about New Orleans by pencil, pen, paintbrush, etc. This month's Sketch Session will be held in Historic Gretna, LA on Saturday, September 1st from 9AM - 11PM.

We're going to meet at the Common Grounds Coffee House & Cafe (335 Huey P Long Ave, Gretna, LA) at 9 AM to capture this historic neighborhood!

Just bring any drawing, sketching, or painting equipment you will need. No skill-level required! We all meet at a different area each month and draw/paint a few buildings, streets, parks, etc. It's as simple as that!

The Urban Sketchers New Orleans Chapter is facilitated by the Louisiana Architectural Foundation (LAF) and the New Orleans Architecture Foundation (NOAF). For more information, please contact Joel Pominville at or (504)525-8320.
