Join us as we tour the Rose Collaborative and hear from the project's development team. Rose Community Development Corporation and Alembic Community Development have partnered to redevelop three vacant, historic properties as the Rose Collaborative, a new 1.5-acre hub for the arts, education, and entrepreneurship in the former St Rose de Lima church building on Bayou Road and two schoolhouses on Columbus Street in New Orleans’ 7th Ward. The project, which is currently completing construction and is opening incrementally in the summer of 2018, includes a three-part program: Performing Arts Space, Early Childhood - 8th Grade School, and Shared Office Space & Community Business Incubator. Metro Studio is the architect of record.
The tour will be led by the project developer, Mike Grote of Alembic Community Development.
