Please join the New Orleans Architecture Foundation on Tuesday, September 5th, as we welcome Eve Picker, founder and CEO of real estate crowdfunding platform, Small Change. Eve will be joined by local architect and developer, Jonathan Tate, to discuss how his New Orleans-based work has been successfully financed through Small Change.
Small Change packages offerings for developers to help them build projects that make cities better, and provides investment opportunities for everyone who cares about cities and wants to see positive change. Eve will discuss how Small Change works for both investors and developers to catalyze inclusive urban development, and will engage in conversation with Jonathan to reveal how equity crowdfunding worked on the ground with his Milan neighborhood project.
With a background as an architect, city planner, urban designer, real estate
developer, community development strategist, publisher, and instigator, Eve has a rich understanding of how cities and urban neighborhoods work – and how they can be revitalized. And Small Change is her latest urban (ad)venture.
