NOAF Lecture: Residential Historic Tax Credits (RHTC)

Join us on Wednesday, November 9th to hear from a panel of industry leaders on how privately owned single family home owners can economically benefit from available incentive programs.

Even though the RHTC program is not a new program, there are still a lot of questions about the program from building owners, design professionals, developers, contractors and first time renovators. Questions like, “Who is it for, how can it help me, how do I get started, etc.” In response to a growing need for better public understanding of the program and its processes, we are hosting a panel of local experts who will present their roles and experience with the Residential Historic Tax Credit Program

Come and learn from respected members of the State Historic Preservation Office, New Orleans Architecture Foundation and Historic Pro NOLA, LLC, a historic preservation and tax credit consulting firm that provides solutions to historic real estate development in the greater New Orleans area.  These leaders will teach attendees about what is available and how you can preserve your beautiful and often historic home.

Please bring your questions to ask during the open forum portion of the lecture.

Speakers Include:
Suzanne Blaum - Director of Education & Outreach, Preservation Resource Center
Harvey Burns, AIA - Moderator and Advisory Member of NOAF
Krystal Cox - Tax Credit Reviewer, LA State Division of Preservation
Nathan Marx - Development Associate, Historic Pro NOLA, LLC
Jason Riggs - Principal, Historic Pro NOLA, LLC
