Join New Orleans Architecture Foundation for an exclusive tour of The Troubadour, a Joie de Vivre boutique hotel at 1111 Gravier Street in downtown New Orleans. The new 184-room hotel stands at the site of the long-vacant Rault Center, which was recently added to the National Register of Historic Places. The renovation of this historic high-rise building was led by Campo Architects.
The guided tour also includes two new venues from Chef Philip Lopez: The “Petite Lion” restaurant and the “Monkey Board” rooftop bar, offering panoramic views of the city from the 17th floor.
The event is $35 per person and is open to the public. Only 22 spots are available. Registration is required and includes a complimentary cocktail at the rooftop bar.
*A 45-minute cultural pre-tour, led by historian Alan Berg, will be offered to participants for an additional $10 price. Starting at 5 pm from the Troubadour, Alan will lead our guests around the hotel discussing the area’s architectural, cultural and musical history.
